Hi Peter, I enjoyed your article very much; I agree that we are wise to challenge conventions, including the names of things. Scott's comment about George Carlin and euphemisms makes me think of all those parents and SLPs who say 'dysfluency' to refer to a moment of stuttering. And how do we handle this with covert PWS? If fluency is 'the absence of noticeable stuttering', then the truly covert ones are already 'fluent', and should therefore derive no benefit from therapy - which is absurd! Thanks again - Charley
