Diane, thanks so much for writing and sharing your experiences. You wrote, “I guess that the one thing that I have learned over the years is that every therapist needs to listen and to adjust to the client..there is more than one way to do things!!” I agree completely. You also wrote, “We talk about (and work on) the issues that are highest on the priority list of my clients (not on my list).” This is such an important point – thank you for bringing it up.
