Joe, thanks so much for writing. I enjoyed reading about you in the paper last week and the article had a great title – “Speech disorder leads to a career helping others.” They are lucky to have you at Appalachian State University. I am so glad you shared “I think if we can get therapy back to dealing with the person and what the person is doing rather than the therapy being about ‘The Therapy,’ we'll start making some progress again.” You said that really well and I just completely agree with you. You put clearly into words something that I have been feeling for some time. Thanks again Joe.
