Hi Peter, Thank you for your interesting and thought-provoking paper. I hope you will forgive me for digressing to a lighter vein. You wrote: “When taking the Fluency Challenge it is suggested that people who stutter and professionals challenge themselves to think and talk about communication and speech without using the words fluency or fluent. If the word fluency is used in thought or conversation, one should challenge him/herself to replace it with more specific and descriptive language.” This reminded me of the extensive avoidance strategies that adversely affected my life for so many years. I avoided words commencing with the letter ‘f’ at all costs. I became a ‘walking thesaurus’. :-) Kindest regards Alan
