This was a very informative and interesting article. I have always wondered if bilinguals stutter in both lanugages. It seems that some stuttering research would support stuttering in both languages; however, there are so many unexplainable inconsistencies regarding this topic! Do you feel that added stress and word retrieval difficulty could be a factor lending to increased stuttering in a bilingual's weaker language? I recently attended a lecture by an Asian speaker, and it seemed that searching for the proper English words caused major disfluencies in his lecture.
