Pat, thank you for your post. Yes, there were two issues here, bilingual and cultural. When there is a cultural difference in the clients I see, I tell them from the outset that there may be topics or assignments that may seem strange or different to them depending on their cultural perspective. When this happens, I encourage them to point this out and we can discuss the issues. My point in the post is that this has never happened. Thanks again for your thoughtful response. You raise some interesting issues.
