I found your review quite informative and interesting! I am currently a graduate student in speech language pathology, and all aspects of bilingualism are of great interest to me. I’m wondering if you may have come across any literature in your research that addresses the effect different dialects may have on a person who stutters. One example of this might be someone who speaks High German at school or work, and speaks a Bavarian dialect of German at home or with friends and family. Along the same lines, does the formal versus informal use of language impact a person’s stuttering?
