Good questions. I am so glad to see so many people just .... wondering. There is the study by Valerie Lim (see previous posts). But I am not aware of anyone else studying either Cantonese or Mandarin (except for the Linda Bebout 1997 study of attitudes towards stuttering. Perhaps other readers know of studies? Perhaps studies published in Mandarin or Cantonese or Thai??
