From the little I know about the Welsh language, there could be some very interesting studies possible with English-Welsh bilinguals given the tendency of Welsh to have many more consonant clusters (consecutive consonants, with no vowel separating them). THis is a good example of how studies of bilingual speakers and of speakers of a range of languages will help our overall understanding of stuttering (complexity of articulation of consecutive consonants in Welsh compared to English, compared to a language like Japanese where the "rule" is alternating C-V-C-V, with few exceptions.
