A second reply to deal with another point you raised (it would be so nice to have paragraphs in this web format !) You also make interesting observations about parenting style. I recall a study of the Lidcombe program done in Germany where parents were reluctant to use the amount/types of praise that are part of the therapy, so that had to be dealt with/explored. So much of work with different cultures comes down to two things: openness and problem solving, doesn't it?
