Hi Julie, Thank you for your question. I usually do a combination of a child/parent treatment, where children practice easier speech and parents learn to model easier speech, and respond to disfluencies by echoing the speech in an easier way. This method is described in Yairi and Seery's (2011) book. I also incorporate parent counseling to help the child be more fluent at home. I have used other approaches, too, such as the Lidcombe method. Jean
