Hello my name is Jennifer; I am a first year graduate student in Speech pathology. Your article was very interesting. You mentioned the advantages of using disfluency analysis with preschool children. Are there any disadvantages of using disfluency analysis with preschooler children? Can we relying to much on disfluency analysis and label a child as a person who stutters but in fact they could just be a normal highly disfluent speaker who will develop normally ?
