Although the article suggests that the Lidcombe Program is effective in treating school-age children who stutter, are you aware of any instances when the parent may have rated their childs' stuttering to be greater than or less than what may be perceived by others? In terms of training the parents, are their differences in the training process for parents of older children? Does motivation to interact with their parent(s) seem to increase or decrease with older individuals?
