As an undergrad student currently taking a course in stuttering, it was very interesting to learn about a program that could help with treatment. I wanted to learn more about the effectiveness of the Lidcombe Program and I found the article "Long-term Outcome of the Lidcombe Program for Early Stuttering Intervention" by Barbara Miller and Barry Guitar. They found that the Lidcombe Program did produce significant changes in the children's speech. They also mentioned that the handedness of the clients seemed to be the only factor that related to the long-term treatment outcome. In your usage of the Lidcombe Program, have you noticed any trends of this sort?
