Thanks for your comments. There is a large body of research looking at the efficacy and effectiveness of the Lidcombe Program. You can find a publication list on the website of the Australian Stuttering Research Centre (ASRC). Regarding the need for more clinical trials I was referring to the question of using the Lidcombe Program with School Age Children, which is the subject of this paper.
