Dear Author, Thank you for sharing this article! I am currently a graduate student completing my second clinical internship. I have not yet had the opportunity to work with a client who stutters. However, I agree that it is important to show these individuals the progress that is being made and what the benefits are from attending therapy. During an inclass lecture, our professor who is also a practicing clinician, discusses how difficult it often is to get her teenaged stuttering clients to be motivated and engaged enough to want to change their speech patterns. I think that visually representing their progress and having them acknowledge the benefits of therapy is a very important part of therapy. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences with us!
