I have a very similar philosophy as you do regarding therapy. I think that celebrating even the smallest of improvements is so important, as it keeps clients motivated and gives them the feeling that they are making progress. Sometimes it is hard for our clients and their parents to see progress as it may be slow and small changes, but it is important to let them know that these small changes lead to big ones. I believe that by celebrating the small achievements in therapy, the end result may seem that much closer.
