Hi Lynne, I'm a graduate student at Western Carolina University and I returned to school after several years as a 1st grade assistant teacher. Your paper about "I did it" moments reminded me of the "Aha" moments we often experienced with the students when they realized that they were actually learning to read! We celebrated with the students by holding "Readers Theater" once a month, letting the students pick a book that they were comfortable with to read out loud to the class. Each student read on their own comfort level, ensuring success, and what pride they showed after reading to an audience! It's great to see that the same type of celebrations can be incorporated into fluency intervention. I can't wait! Thanks, Elizabeth
