[[Recognizing it is my choice on how I perceive myself turned my attention to what my strengths are. Connecting how we view ourselves and how that impression guides other people’s view of us shifts the power.]] Well, Emily, I was just about to turn off the computer where I've been working for about 2 1/2 hours, but I decided to check-in at this Conference. And there was your post! What a beautiful testament to self-reflection and self-awareness. /// As you have recognized, we have so much power to live a life that is satisfying. I am happy that you have discovered that. Perhaps, the words of the esteemed writer and diarist, Anais Nin, will help support you during times of challenge as they have me, "We do not see things as they really are. We see things as we are." Or, as Dr. Wayne Dyer reminds us, "When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change." And so do we! These may be considered simple sayings by some, but they certainly are not simple to live anymore than say, The 10 Commandments. But when we take them to heart and commit to living them, we can transform ourselves into happy, strong people who can be truly helpful to others. Thank you for sharing what you have learned about living well. Ellen-Marie Silverman
