Hi Chana - Thanks for your posting and your question. I think that a reluctant teen might get even more reluctant in the scenario you described. Perhaps a more productive avenue would be to explore ways in which you could encourage your teenage client to really explore the meaning that stuttering has in their lives and the overall impact of their stuttering is having on the quality of their life.
