Thanks for your posting. Teachers are generally not familiar with the terms for various techniques and tools. More than their knowledge of the terms, I hope that the brochures help to build safe spaces at school, so that my clients who stutter can have happy healthy school days. Communication across disciplines is both a need and a challenge in the varied settings in which SLPs work. I find I am at my most successful in this department when I reach out in a personable manner, building relationships vs. jumping right in with in-services and such. Thanks again. ~ Carrie V.
