Thank you for sharing your story. I am a graduate student in a fluency class and am very interested in working with people who stutter. Your story is very inspirational and real. I cannot imagine growing up in a society as a person who stutters, such as in the United States, where people respond so poorly to the way that I talk. Before reading your story, I had never thought of the different views of people in other countries. Your story made me realize, as frustrating as the thought was, that people in other countries are not any better and maybe even less accepting than in the United States. Thank you for explaining your childhood in Slovenia and how people in your country viewed people who stutter. It is so terrible that individuals are so rude and ignorant, but you showed your strength and have inspired many people. Thank you for being strong and telling your story. It is very inspirational to read about people who have had success in conquering their feelings about the way that they talk. I also think your book is such a great idea with an amazing message. You truly are very talented!
