Hello, thank you for your kind words and questions. It didn't took me long to write it, but I had problems with publishing. When I wrote this book, I showed it to several editors and they were saying that no one will ever read it, one even asked me if I'm out of my mind because a princess can't stutter. It has not published in USA yet, but I'm trying to find a publisher there. My book has been translated to many languages. For the last few years I've been visiting Slovenian primary schools, high schools, faculties and public libraries and I'm lecturing about stuttering and problems of people who stutter. I can see a lot of changes in how people see stuttering. I've been invited to many television and radio shows where I talked about this. People who stutter from all around Slovenia are writing me, some of them just to thank me for what I'm doing for people who stutter, others are asking me to help them. Because I'm not a speech therapist and I don't have their knowledge, I can't help them to reduce their stuttering (and only because speech therapy didn't help me it doesn't mean it can't help other people, so I always encourage people to see a speech therapist), but I can help them with my experiences and knowing how does it feel to be a person who stutters. And that's priceless. No book can teach you that. With best wishes, Beata Akerman
