Sometimes it really helps one's motivation to draw upon the achievements and milestones of others, in areas unrelated to speech and stuttering, and feed into their wellsprings of positive energy for the inspiration, courage, determination, and persistence that we need to strive - and eventually reach - our owm personal goals.
