Ms. Blom- thank you for writing this paper and for opening up about not only the troubles you have encountered, but also the triumph you have found when you discovered groups/organizations which focus on stuttering and the PWS. You described well how these organizations can provide an understanding, comforting, supporting and inspiring environment for PWS and for anyone intersted in stuttering and in PWS. In the past few years, have you found more Speech Language Pathologists and other professionals in teaching fields attending meetings for PWS and going to conferences that are geared around stuttering and PWS? If not, do you feel advertising more in journals/web sites geared towards speech pathologists and teachers might help increase their participating in these conferences, in order to help increase the knowledge and understanding of professionals with regard to their students who stutter? Again thank you for sharing your heartfelt paper.
