Yes, a change of situations is helpful, as it helps you to set new goals and face new challenges. But you need a backup team. People around you who are there for you. That can be family and friends, but also the stuttering community. Before I moved to Sweden I had a long period of doubts on what might go wrong, (although stuttering somehow never crossed my mind, as the other challenges were so much bigger), but I came to the conclusion that I could always go back in case it wouldn't work out. But if I wouldn't have at least tried it, I would always have that though of What If. And the thought of not even giving it a chance was too big a waste of a chance to find happiness. A comfort zone is as big (or small) as you let it be. So create a group of people backing you up and DO IT! Thanks for your input. Anita
