Dear Mariya Very good question! I will give the raw data, ok? Stutterings on second syllable ADULTS: 11 blocks; 3 blocks in clusters; 3 prolongations of the first phoneme of the second syllable; 3 prolongations of the second phoneme of the second syllable; 1 repetition of first phoneme = total of 21 CHILDREN: 5 blocks; 6 prolongations of the second phoneme of the second syllable; 4 prolongations of the first phoneme of the second syllable; 1 repetition of first phoneme = total of 16 from a corpus of 1326 stuttered words. We can see that adults block more and children prolong more. But these differences were not statistically significant. Hope it helped! Thank you for your question. Anelise
