Hello and I am really thankful that you enjoyed reading my article. I hope it will be very inspiring to your students. A Speech Implementer is a person with an undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or SLP who practices in a school setting or facility who has adopted the Speech Implementer Model (more info on ASHA.org and www.dese.mo.gov). The duties of a Spleech Implementer are limited to treatment and documentation and has to be supervised by a licensed SLP. The position does not lead to certification.
