I loved reading your story! My name is Kelsey, and I am a graduate student in Speech-Language Pathology. Aside from being a PWS, I can actually relate to your process of contemplating when deciding upon a career path. I graduated with a BS in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. My plan was always to become either a PT or an OT. I had a change of heart half way through my undergraduate study and began to take the prerequisite courses for SLP. I truly struggled, considered, and reconsidered this decision for months. I couldn’t imagine having the increased stress from being a PWS! As a clinician, are you able to pass on your sense of determination and desire to your clients, particularly those who stutter? If yes, how so?
