Thanks for sharing your story, it is very inspiring and very motivational to all of us SLP's in training! One thing you mentioned was your Speech Teacher working with you outside of the 60 minute sessions each week. Do you feel if she hadn't put forth that extra effort, it would have taken you longer to get to where you are now? Also, it's known that males are more likely to stutter than females. Do you recall any factors that may have lead to the development of your stuttering? How often does your stuttering affect you now and what situations tend to elicit stuttering?
