I enjoyed reading your story very much! In the beginning when you were talking about your SLP, and at the end when you were talking about yourself and how the kids loved you, I told myself that that's exactly the type of SLP I want to become! Also, In the beginning, when you were talking about your SLP you had stated that she didn't stutter. This actually made me think about an activity my class had to do in our undergraduate fluency disorders course. We had to go out in public in three different places and stutter. I was so nervous to do this, but after doing so, I understand why we had to do it. To get a taste of what it's like, and to know how future clients of ours would feel. So, thank you, because after reading your article it made me appreciate that assignment that much more. In the future I definitely see myself helping those who stutter and telling them about the experience I had.
