This is a difficult question to answer but I think that managing stuttering has made managing SD easier, mostly because I spent so many years accepting my imperfect speech already. A person who gets SD as an adult may have a more difficult time because they have no experience in acceptance of imperfect speech. I do not think managing has SD made managing stuttering any easier, it probably has only made it more difficult. but the botox treatments make managing both easier.
