Irene, thank you for sharing your story. I found it both interesting and inspiring. I am currently in my first semester of graduate school studying to be a speech-language pathologist and I have a few questions for you. Looking back on both your stuttering and spasmodic dysphonia, which of the two was the most difficult (or frustrating) to deal with? You seemed to have such a positive outlook, despite having a dual diagnosis. Finally, what would you suggest discussing with a client who either has a voice problem or a fluency problem and is having negative feelings about therapy? Thank you for your time.
