Thank you for your most meaningful response to our article. It has been our feeling throughout our years of service and training in the area of fluency disorders that the entire person must be treated, not simply a focus on speech behaviors. Kristin and Julie's efforts at founding Camp Shout Out have had this philosophy at its core. Beginning with the day the camp ended this year, changes are being developed to enrich the experience for children and their families as well as those of the speech-language pathologists and graduate students.
