Hi Debbie, Thank you for your post! We would be delighted to have you as a training participant. We had several 8 year olds at camp. I think one reassuring factor is that we all (trainers, trainees, and campers) stay at the camp. Certified camp counselors stay with the campers, and the Camp Director on site, Carl, has his eyes and ears everywhere. From my experience, it is harder for the parents to leave than it is for the camper to be there! Best Wishes, Kristin Chmela
