Thanks for your comments. You are correct that this is a fabulous way for SLPs and grad students to learn about working with young people who stutter as well as a way for campers to learn new things, meet new people and have ton of fun. We have been able to maintain connections with those families/campers who wish to stay in touch. We do have a facebook page and we also have a private forum where participants can post comments, ideas, ask for assistance as well as post pictures and videos. We have been able to keep in contact via email and phone. Some of the SLPs and grad students have visited campers at cross country meets or other functions. One goal we have is to offer a Camp Shout Out reunion and/or outing for participants to continue with connections they made at camp. Thanks again and perhaps someday you could join us! Julie Raynor
