Judy, once again you have provided a useful and valuable forum. But I respectfully urge you to go farther. There are many elements of the stuttering problem that have by no means been solved. That’s why I propose the creation of a new section next year that would require your recruitment of people with the three C's willing to do some much-needed forthright, critical examination of the profession and its practices concerning stuttering. And that would, of course, include healthy and invigorating debate, which the profession should not fear but welcome. I believe that looking forward, it would be greatly appreciated by the consumers. — Ed edfeuer@mts.net
