Second, you say that roughly 10% might be affected by the mutations in the gene complex you identified. I am a bit skeptical about this number. Could you put some sampling error around these 10%? How large is the statistical uncertainty? Moreover, I am wondering whether there could not be a sample bias because you looked at very special families. Do you have any ideas what biases there could be and how large their impact could be?
