Dr. Drayna, This subject is fascinating! I'm wondering if there are any studies regarding the vocalizations of mice as an animal model for human speech that you could direct me to? I'm also curious, are there different types of gene mutations or are genes mutated in degrees or a more quantitative sense rather than qualitative?Is there any information on how specifically these genes have mutated?
