I understand that you have some data which backs up your theory on how genetics can play a key role in whether a child will acquire a stutter or not; however, don't you believe that genetics can't be the sole reason. Environment has to play a large role in whether a child develops a stutter or not. If an adult has a speech impediment they have a larger percentage of passing that along but I think that the environment which they are raised can either reduce or increase the impediment. Also, with many children their stutters are just temporary and go away after a period of time so how would genetics explain that?
