Ashley - one concern. In genetic terms, 'the environment' means everything not hard-wired by inheritance. That can include the random occurrences of development itself. Withing the uterus, identical twins experience different environments. As the fetus develops from fertilized egg to birth, each is subject to different hormone levels within it's own body, just by chance. So 'the environment' is much more than how your parents treat you - it is the sum total of everything your body experiences once sperm and egg meet.
