At this point, probably not. There's quite a bit a variability in stuttering among people who carry the exact same mutation. At this point, all we can say is that genes can strongly predispose a person to stuttering, but exactly how they stutter seems to be influenced by lots of things that are not genetic, such as the need to speak in front of a group.
