Part of our job is to convince the teens that it is in their best interest that their parents understand them and their speech as best they can. As reticent as teens may be, the fact that both of their parent will take time off to really WORK on learning about their stuttering, is not lost on the teens. If their parents didn't care, they wouldn't come.
