Toni - Thank you for reaing our paper and leaving your comments. I really feel strongly that Teletherapy for Stuttering offers those who stutter (and their parents) a terrific opportunity to work directly with a professional they have confidence in --- no matter where they are in this country. My view...I believe that the client - clinician alliance may be perhaps the strongest factor in any positive therapy outcome. In my opinion, SLP's that can successfully assist clients in the treatment of stuttering are difficult to come by; clients need to be really good consumers and know what they are looking for in a therapist.
