Debbie, I was lucky enough to spend a month with Willie and Frances and crew at the Michael Palin Centre. The other great thing about PCI therapy (that you describe) is that the SLP doesn't teach the parent what to do. Rather, the SLP and parent look for something the parent is doing "right" while they are playing and then they do that for the next week in play at home over the next week. It is very empowering for the parent. The idea is you look for what is working and encourage the parent to do more. Thanks for bringing this into the discussion. BTW..
