I would say that this type of activity is not for all personality types. The original activity started out as a book (which I would definitely do with another student). We were going to put it together, print it out and then laminate and bind. Since I am not very tech savvy, the only thing I thought of doing was to put it into a power point and then proceed with our original plan after we printed it out. When a presentation to the teachers was suggested, we decided to leave it in the power point form and go from there. When she did the keynote (Friends and Stuttering), the keynote has a feature where she can record the presentation as she goes through it. That was stressful to Stephanie so we did not submit it that way. It was a great activity for her to hear herself speak. That is one activity I would use with another student. Letting them hear themselves is very therapeutic. Of course, no one likes how they sound - that's why it was stressful to Stephanie. Overall, this was a great experience that I would tweak to fit the personality of the student with whom I was working. Thanks for the comment.
