Mr. Johnson - I thought your paper was very honest and could be very helpful read for people who stutter as well as those who do not. I am a graduate student and am currently working with a sixth grade boy who stutters. One of our potential goals is to get him to write down his personal stuttering story, similar to what you have written here. I hope that I will be able to give him tips before he begins. I was wondering if you received any advice before writing your story? If so, what was the most helpful advice you received? And also, how would you persuade an eleven year old to be so open and honest when stuttering is so often a taboo topic?
