I am inspired by your story. It is evidence of how the support of another individual can help to make a difference in the life of a person who stutters. Of course, the effort and triumph is all yours. However, in your situation, it seems that your advisor simply gave you the opportunity to challenge yourself at the right time and in the right manner. I hope that I can do that for someone someday. I am a graduate student aspiring to become a Speech Language Pathologist. In addition, I am a spouse of a former Air Force officer. I am writing to ask you about your greatest challenge in your career as a military officer in regards to stuttering. How did you work through this challenge and what was the outcome?
