Jesse, Thanks for your response. This particular speaking event did not immediately help to improve my stuttering, but it was always a moment from which I drew strength whenever I did struggle with my stuttering. Over time, confidence and truly becoming comfortable with myself became just as important as any speech therapy technique. As my confidence grew, I realized that my fluency began to increase as well.
