Thank you. :) Yes, we do work on trying to change my stutter to an easier form through voluntary stuttering, which is a technique where you stutter on purpose to stop yourself from worrying about stuttering later in the conversation, and to try to get your stuttering to eventually 'migrate' to less-severe symptoms. If I'm honest, voluntary stuttering has always been the thing I've had the hardest time with in therapy, but I've heard many people attest to its effectiveness. In terms of dealing with incidents where I do still stutter, I'm training myself to simply not care about it. It can be difficult sometimes, but when I can I try to detach myself emotionally from the stutter and analyze my speech to see if I could have used a technique or otherwise handled myself better, then make a mental note for future situations.
